Our journey since 1945
Mansfield Paint Company was founded in 1945 by the visionary F.E. Kautz, who led the company until 1979. His daughter, Ann Kautz Bargahiser, continued his legacy until 2001 when current owner George Bufkin took the helm. From Mr. Kautz's initial idea for automotive finishes, including wheel rim paints and plastisols, our company has continuously evolved to meet changing industry needs.
Originally based in Mansfield, Ohio, we moved to Medina, Ohio in December 2002. Today, we proudly manufacture over 200 chemical coating products for steel, iron, various rubber, plastic substrates, and zinc-plated items. Our products are rigorously developed in our laboratory, extensively tested in practical applications, manufactured under strict process control, and subjected to thorough quality checks.
